The Matte Nude Lip
Matte nude lips aren’t going anywhere anytime soon— with big thanks to celebrities like Kylie Jenner. To get the perfect nude lip, start out by using a lip liner and trace the outside of your lips with it and then slowly fill it in. Then, use either a matte nude lipstick or gloss to fill in all of the cracks. The great thing about matte lips is that they usually adhere to your lips a little better which means that they will last longer.
Although a dewy glow may be popular during the warm, summer months, a matte look is a trend you’re going to want to use in the fall and winter months. Look for a matte foundation that matches your skin exactly and make sure to blend it all the way onto your neck.
Contouring is more popular than ever— especially now that Kim Kardashian has released her new contouring makeup line. Contouring adds depth and dimension to your face. To contour, you can either pick up a contouring tool, or you can get a dark foundation and a highlighter. To start out, take the darker shade and apply it near your hairline, ears, nose, and cheekbones. Then, slowly blend everything into the center of your skin. To top it off, add a highlighter on your nose, the top of your cheekbones, and your forehead.
